The Paul Rosenbaum collection.

This collection consists of fifteen manuscript boxes arranged in two series. Series 1. Legislative subject files, 1970-1978. Contains constituent correspondence, reports, court opinions, and memoranda. All materials express opinions about the subjects listed. These files show how both citizens and legislators were grappling with issues such as morality of abortion, health care availability, and the right to die. The bulk of the material dates from 1974 to 1978. Series 2. House bills, 1973-1978. Contains bills, legislative analyses, reports, and correspondence. These bills were considered by the committees that Rosenbaum served on. The bulk of the material dates from the 1977-1978 legislative session.

Paul A. Rosenbaum was born on December 29, 1942 in New York City. He received a B.S. from Springfield College in 1964 and a law degree (J.D.) from the George Washington School of Law in 1967. His professional and community organizational affiliations included the American Bar Association, and the Big Brothers of Battle Creek, Michigan.
